Sweet Soiree was created by me, Travis Mitchel. I'm here to share the gift, joy and creative outlet baking has been. Here at Sweet Soiree the look, taste and feel of the confections are all necessary.

I baked my first scratch cake 12 years ago which was carrot cake and from then on my family insisted that it had to be made. I continued to bake teaching myself as a creative outlet during a rough season in my  life. I learned how to bake through tv, cookbooks and loved ones and I am still learning today.  The reaction of pleasure and joy when someone bites into that dessert is affirming and joyful for me as well.
